Description: This workshop is part of the preparation of the 2026 ATLAS Strategic Plan, leading toward a presentation at the Low-Energy Community Meeting (LECM-2026). Representatives from science and instrumentation sub-groups will present their physics priority findings and ATLAS upgrade proposals. The two-day program includes plenary subgroup sessions, open discussion, and a parallel working session to advance sub-group chapter drafts.
Subgroups: Nuclear Astrophysics · Nuclear Structure · Fundamental Symmetries · Nuclear Science Applications · AI/ML & DAQ/HPC · Facility Improvements
Objective: Produce a draft document for the 2026 ATLAS Strategic Plan that captures community input, scientific priorities, current facility capabilities and limitations, and ongoing upgrades. The draft will be presented at the Low-Energy Community Meeting (LECM-2026) in August 2026.
