Student speakers who attend the workshop in person will qualify for the local support which includes lodging and per diem for meals. The maximum reimbursable amount for lodging is $134 per day before taxes and fees. The per diem is $79 per day per person. See more details of Lodging and Per-Diem Rates. If students share one hotel room, we can only reimburse one receipt for no more than $134 per day before taxes and fees.
After we accept your abstract and receive your registration, we will send you instructions on hotel booking and get the reibursement process started. After the meeting, please send your lodging receipt to Paula Dahlberg ([email protected]) to process your reimbursement.
In order to guarantee hotel booking, please submit your registration and abstract at your earliest convenience.
Using home sharing networks, including, but not limited to Airbnb and VRBO (formerly HomeAway) is strictly prohibited for all domestic and international travel and is not reimbursed. Using hostels is strictly prohibited for all travel and is not reimbursed unless the lodging arrangements are similar to the Argonne Guest House, CERN hostel, or Berkeley Lab Guest House.
