You will need a gate pass or an Argonne user badge to enter the Argonne campus. If you do not have a valid badge to come on site, please follow the instructions below. For more information of on-site entry requirements please visit: https://www.anl.gov/site-entry-requirements
Because of new DOE/Laboratory policies, workshop attendees who are not US citizens must submit an up to date CV during the gate pass application process. Laboratory guidelines state that: "CV's must provide all science and technology specialties, all work positions with no gaps in time, and current/accurate names of all academic institutions attended." If there are gaps in your CV, for reasons such as parental or health leave, a transition between jobs, etc., please briefly explain these gaps in your CV. We provide an example of a CV here.
Accepted Students:
1. First register for CUWiP with APS.
2. Next fill out this form to request site access.
(Note: Where it asks for your employer/affiliation, please list your School.)
Non Student Attendees:
Please contact us here before requesting site access. We have a separate registration page enabled for faculty who would like to accompany their students and for participants in the career fair.
Please note that for most non US citizens, processing site access applications can take some time. We encourage you to do this as soon as is practical (At least 4 weeks before the conference owing to the large number of attendees and the winter holidays). Please contact us if you have any questions.
